Rural Actions For Economic, Social and Environmental Reform
RAFESER is a visionary initiative launched on October 15 2019 to champion rural inclusion in the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda. Rooted in the belief that no community should be left behind, RAFESER drives transformative action at the grassroots—fostering inclusive economic growth, social equity, and environmental stewardship across underserved rural areas.
Through strategic partnerships, innovative community programs, and integrated development models, RAFESER empowers rural populations with the tools, knowledge, and infrastructure to:
- Strengthen local governance through participatory, transparent, and accountable institution
- Enhance community resilience to socio-economic shocks and environmental disruptions
- Promote economic empowerment through entrepreneurship and inclusive value chain
- Improve environment quality through sustainable agriculture renewable energy, and waste management
- Facilitate integrated planning aligned with ISO 37101's sustainability purposes and community goals
Goal 11: AIM TO MAKE CITIES AND COMMUNITIES INCLUSIVE, SAFE, RESILIENT, AND SUSTAINABLERural Actions: Promote community development masterplan and mapping. Enable access to basic services and infrastructures.
Goal 9: BUILD RESILENT INFRASTRUCTURE, PROMOTE INCLUSIVE AND SUSTAINABLE INDUSTRIALIZATION AND FOSTER INNOVATION Rural Actions: Promote reviving, stability and emergence of primary industries in the rural areas through delivery of best practices consultancy and access to finance by interested persons
